Hello and welcome!
My name is Thu Ha Küng. I am the artist and designer behind Autumn River Studio. My first name Thu Ha, means Autumn River, hence the name for my little studio.
I reside with my family in Switzerland. We are located in the countryside, where my love for nature is nurtured. I love fauna and flora, especially trees. There is something magical about old and big trees. I am just drawn to them!
I love cute and simple designs, which are well reflected in my work. I try to obtain a classic and timeless feel to my designs. I also love florals, who doesn`t?
The best job in the world!
My favorite medium is traditional watercolor paint. Seeing the colors blending in is like experiencing magic, over and over again. However, for certain designs, I prefer to draw digitally on Procreate. It allows me to edit my drawings more easily, which is very practical.
If I could, I would draw and design all day. I love creating patterns for fabrics. I am honored to be creating prints for clothing brands by working with countless entrepreneurs from all over the world. One of the most rewarding parts is to see my designs come to life! To see them made into clothing and various products, nevertheless, being worn and used by children in different parts of our world! What more can one ask for? :)
